July 19:
9th Annual Boston Tea Party
The 9th Annual Boston Tea Party is just around the corner! This year's annual event will be held July 19, 2008 live from the Daniel Webster Collegecampus in Nashua, NH from 12:00 PM - 8:00PM EDT (1600z - 0000z). As many seasoned VATSIM pilots can attest to, this exclusive event is the most thrilling, interactive of them all. With the opportunity to receive payware prizes from our sponsors and to be a part of the thousands of operations handled by our finest controllers, who wouldn't love to join us in the fun? This year's event will feature over 28 of our controllers together, possibly a VATSIM record, in Nashua and many of our other dedicated controllers and staff members logging on from home.

Northern Migration IV
Come one come all to Northern Migration IV! Join us as the ZMP ARTCC convenes in one location on July 20th at Duluth to control and attend the Duluth Airshow! We will be staffing up DLH - Duluth, MN and MSP - Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN! Starts at 7pm Central. See you there!

Pilot in Command Online Flight Race (through July 20)
The Pilot in Command online flight race began on Monday 14th July 2008. The competition is organized by Finnish Virtual Aviators' Association as a part of their summer event in Jämijärvi airport. The race is open for all VATSIM pilots all around the world.
The idea of the competition is simple. Just send your entry form via the website and start flying in the VATSIM network. Each flight will be tracked and awarded with points. The amount of points depend on the destination, weather conditions and ATC coverage. The competition ends on Sunday 20th July at 0600 UTC.
