I'm sad to have to report that the Flight Sim community lost one of its most vocal, colorful, and prolific contributors, Ron Freimuth. Ron was a long-time Beta tester on Flight Sim, and was considered by many to be one of the very best developers when it came to flight dynamics. Ron pushed farther and dug far, far deeper into our .AIR files than anyone here ever anticipated.

I didn't always agree with Ron ... on much of anything, and figured that I only deserved about half of the unprintable epithets he lobbed my way, but he was absolutely passionate about what he did, and ultimately, we all wanted the same things: happy customers, and airplanes that flew right.

He will be missed.
